Continental, probably French, circa 1900s. A matched pair of petite faux bois carved ballroom or fancy side chairs, probably beechwood, each having an oval open back carved with leafy vinery and berried clusters over a padded seat upholstered in a cream and brown toile against a spa blue fabric, raised on front turned legs, slightly tipped. Approximate height 35.8", width 16", seat depth 14", seat height 17.5".
