French, first quarter 20th century. Pair of petite walnut inlaid marble top bedside commodes, chenets or stands, each having a three quarter pierced brass gallery enclosing the breche d'Alep marble top over three inlaid drawers, the chamfered angles with by gilt metal mounts, raised on slender cabriole legs terminating in applied front gilt sabots. Approximate height 31", width 10", depth 9.75".
