Italian, early 20th century. A Venetian Rococo style parcel gilt and polychrome decorated bombe commode having a stepped serpentine top with molded edge over a bombe case housing two drawers, each with individual locking mechanisms, over a gilt pierced foliate carved skirt, raised on foliate and c-scroll carved cabriole legs, the whole decorated in a robin's egg blue ground decorated with polychrome flowers and leafy vines with gilt accented foliate moldings on the drawers, angles, sides, apron and legs. Approximate height 32", width 51.12", depth 20".
