"Susanna Leatherdale" Needlework Sampler, America, c. 1756, stitched in worsted wool on a linen background, with two lines of alphabet and numbers over six lines of verse and "Susanna Leatherdale" flanked by "17" and "56," framed ht. 9, wd. 9 in. Estimate $100-150 There are a few small holes in the background and a couple of the letters have some thread loss. Background toned.
