Mahogany Veneer Inlaid Lady's Desk, probably New Hampshire, early 19th century, the upper section with molded lift top opening to a shallow well, above three inlaid doors opening to drawers and compartments, and flanked by inlaid columns, set into a projecting lower section with fold-down writing surface, and four matched veneer crossbanded drawers below, all on a valanced skirt joining flaring French feet, ht. 54, wd. 43, dp. 19 1/2 in.
