Officer's Epaulettes and Case Identified to Quarter Master John Platt, Missouri State Militia, c. 1860, gold bullion epaulettes with 1st Lieutenant bars, red silk lining, with a carte-de-visite and a folded commission, in a painted tin case. Estimate $200-400 Some wear from age and use, and the commission has been backed and folded inside the case. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
