Wojciech Kossak (Polish, 1857-1942) Peasant Woman with Soldier and Horse Signed "Wojciech Kossak" l. l., signed or inscribed and titled (in Polish) on a label from the Friends of Polish Painters Society of Krakow affixed to the reverse. Oil on panel, 8 x 10 3/4 in. (20.3 x 27.3 cm), framed. Condition: Minor horizontal hairline cracks to panel, surface grime. Estimate $800-1,200 There is very slight bowing to the panel at upper right. There are scattered brown accretions. Frame dimensions: 11 1/4 x 14 1/4 x 1 3/8 in.
