Pair of Wedgwood Jasper Figural Candlesticks on Plinths, England, 19th century, each blue and white, the candlesticks with classical maidens supporting cornucopia-form candle holders and standing on a fluted circular pedestal on square plinth, ht. 10 1/2; plinths with ram's heads to a square form with classical figures and griffins to each base corner, ht. 8 7/8 in. Estimate $800-1,200 The candlesticks have been glued to the plinths. Each candlestick missing its nozzle; One restored through at neck and cornucopia; one through at area of join to pedestal; one pedestal with break and simple reglue to a ram's head; scattered firing lines to relief; One with restoration to one ram's head and numerous hairlines and firing lines.
