First American edition, second state with following points: word "his" missing from line 20 on page 242, p. 156 has a capital T for Trees on line 10 and thirteenth instead of sixteenth at the end of the footnote, p. 330 line 23 has "Eastern" (later corrected to "eastern"), fully bound in red morocco with blind tooling on front cover and gilt-lettered on spine, illustrated throughout, includes 1908 souvenir postcard from the Mark Twain house, 9 x 6 1/4 in.
