George I Needlework-upholstered Walnut Open Armchair, England, early 18th century, rectangular back, padded armrests, later upholstery depicting "Rebecca at the Well" on the back and a basket of flowers on the seat, cabriole legs, ht. 44, seat ht. 16 1/2, wd. 29, dp. 28 1/2 in. Estimate $1,000-1,500 Probable alterations to the frame, rear legs with iron re-enforcements. Fabric not original with a small rewoven area and a small hole.
