Model 1858 Forage Cap, c. 1861-65, blue broadcloth body, a brass infantry bugle with a brass "K" in the center, and a white 3rd Corps badge with a blue 2nd Corps badge sewn to the white, leather visor and chin strap with general service eagle buttons, brown polished cotton lining (wear) and a brown sweatband. Provenance: The collection of Ron Tunison. Estimate $1,000-1,500 Some moth nips and holes on the broadcloth, liner and sweatband have some loss.
