Eagle Pommel Saber, c. early 19th century, brass hilt with eagle pommel and "P" knuckle bow, reeded bone grip, partially blued blade with gilt foliate designs and panoply of arms, with a leather scabbard with brass fittings, blade lg. 33 3/4, overall lg. 39 in. Estimate $700-900 Blade is dark but some blue remains, scabbard has some cracking and broken threads. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
