Heller & Brightly "Small" Mountain Transit, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, no. 5552, late 19th early 20th century, 7-in. scope with level mounted to underside, "A"-frame supports with vertical scale and vernier, 3-in. engraved dial reading as above, opposing verniers and spirit level, four-screw adjustable base, all housed in its original walnut fitted case stamped "5552," with interior labels.
