Two Yorkshire Pearlware Surface Agate Teapots and Covers, England, late 18th century, each oval, one with a green glaze, fluted spout, and spaniel finial, lg. 8; the other blue glazed with raised foliate and berry border and acorn finial, lg. 8 in. Estimate $400-600 Green glazed: Professionally restored to chips on dog's nose, detached handle and hairline to body at handle and base. Edge of spout with glaze wear and slight hairline. Slight chips to inner rim of pot. Blue glazed: Cover with abrasion to glaze on finial; chip to inner collar. Pot with two small rim chips; chips to lip of spout.
