Doulton Lambeth Salt-glaze Three-part Sweetmeat Compote, dated 1876, made by assistant Ethel Beard and an unrecorded artist EAG, with a single tier of circular receptacles each fitted with a ring handle, on an flared base, incised and carved over all with geometric designs in tones of moss green and cobalt blue, ht. 6 1/2, wd. 10 1/4 in. Two minor chips to underneath of footrim, one on outer edge, one on inner edge. One bowl with a 1" firing flaw to glaze at center.
