David Paine No. 582 Japanned Longcase Clock, London, c. 1760, sarcophagus hood with looking glass embellishments and engaged brass capitol columns flanking the composite brass dial, name boss in arch reading "David Paine/London/582," matted center, subsidiary seconds, and date aperture, fully decorated step-molded case, eight-day time and hour-strike movement, regulated by a brass-rod pendulum and two weights, ht. 93 in.
