Chinese, Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). A meiping form vase of faceted octagonal form above a narrow foot, the wide body decorated low relief with the eight Daoist immortals, each standing amidst ruyi shaped clouds within a bracket lobed cartouche, with a band of cartouches above and below each being filled with floral forms having leafy branches, at top alternating between chrysanthemum and peony blossoms, the vase with a celadon glaze of deep olive-green tone except to figural cartouches which are unglazed and bisque fired. Approximately 16 3/8" tall, 10" diameter._x000D_
