Double folio page copper-plate engraved map on laid paper, hand-colored, with a large cartouche in the upper left showing William Penn trading with indigenous people; a strange map, which shows Cape Cod attached to Connecticut, Massachusetts north of Boston (which is also in Connecticut), and New Hampshire with a long stretch of coastline; New Jersey fares better; New York has taken a novel shape, 24 x 20 1/2 in.
