Labadieville, Louisiana, Carved Civil War Cane, c. 1862, hardwood cane with the handle carved in the form of a boot, carved "LABARDIEVILLE 1862" on the boot, brass sword grip wire below the boot, overall lg. 36 in. Provenance: The collection of Nicholas A. Penachio. Estimate $800-1,200 Has a period repair of a split on the side but in very good condition.
