Soft ground etching with aquatint in gray and ochre on paper, plate size 5 1/2 x 10 3/4 in. (13.9 x 27.2 cm), framed. Condition: Deckled edges, toning, mat burn, registration pinholes to left and right edge of image, pencil annotations to lower margin and verso, masking tape to upper edge on verso. Provenance: Stamp from the collection of Roger Marx (1859-1913), Paris (Lugt, 2229); through to the estate of Carol J. Ferranti, New York.
