Théophile Alexandre Steinlen (Swiss/French, 1859-1923) Femme au Boa, c. 1900, fourth state of five. Signed and dedicated "á Eug Delàtre Steinlen" in pencil l.r., inscribed "4e etát" in pencil l.l., identified on label from Eleanor Kanegis, Inc., Boston, on the reverse. Etching with aquatint on paper, plate size 9 x 5 3/4 in. (22.9 x 14.6 cm), framed. Condition: Margins over 1/4 inch, subtle soiling or staining to margins, not examined out of frame.
