Japanese, late 19th/ early 20th century. A bronze figural lamp depicting a single man dressed in a kimono with allover decoration of calligraphic marks, with a gilt bronze obi and woven basket slung crossbody, and right hand held above his head as he looks down to his left. Sculpture is mounted onto a wood double round pedestal. Approximately 16.25" tall x 6" diameter at base.
