the first of flattened rectangular form with rounded corners, carved through a red overlay to a transparent ground depicting carp on either side, having a pink glass stopper; the second a multi-color example of pear shape, carved through opaque overlay of sapphire, red, pink, yellow and green hues to a snowflake ground depicting a scene of lotuses on either side, having a pink glass stopper.
