late 19th century having a ribbon-tied profile medallion crest above an oval padded back with a pierce carved border, padded arms and a stuffover seat, the seat rail carved with a running coin border and fruit and floral garlands centered by another profile medallion, raised on fluted tapering legs with climbing vines. Height 45 x width 55 x depth 24 1/2 inches. Property from the Collection of Dr. Parto Rezai, Glenview, Illinois In overall good, stable, usable condition. Frame with even later finish throughout, having some minor surface wear including some areas of exposed gesso, more so to the back. Some tight age separations to joints.
