Harrison Brothers & Howson (Sheffield, 1862-1950), four quarter 19th century. A fine Victorian three piece cased box set of silver plated serving pieces comprising two berry spoons with grape scissors; all with openwork handles elaborately chased cast and decorated with grapes and entwining oak leaves, the spoons with silver-gilt bowls and fruiting repousse decoration within a scalloped edge. Presented in the original fitted purple velvet- and blue satin-lined case retailed by Hogg and Shaw, Goldsmith and Jewelers, 62 Market Street, Manchester. The spoons hallmarks for Harrison Brothers & Howson. Approximate length of spoons 9". Approximate length of scissors 6.75".
