Continental (likely French), 19th century. A palatial carved and giltwood Aesthetic Movement overmantle (or over mantle) mirror having beveled rectangular looking glass, frame flanked on either side by acanthine columns having scrolled acanthus leaf capitals and florettes to bases, frieze with foliates, acanthus leaf tips, fleur-de-lis and rocaille elements, frieze centered by rocaille and rose crest, apparently unmarked. Overall approximately 66" x 70".
