Continental, last quarter 19th century. An exquisite palatial Aesthetic Movement giltwood wall mirror with square looking glass, frame centered at top by florette, scrolled foliate and cascading laurel architectural crest, with scalloped and triangular details, upper frieze with Orientalist style patterning typical of Aesthetic Movement, looking glass flanked by columnar elements topped with ornate Far Eastern-influence capitals, apparently unmarked. Overall approximately 78" x 59.75".
