Bartlett, Josiah (1729-1795) Signed Receipt, 7 December 1769. Small piece of laid paper inscribed on one side. Asking William Sleeper to pay Samuel Winslow Jr., six shillings for one cord of wood to Mr. Toppon, signed by Richard Hubbard (preceding text in his hand); signed and dated by Josiah Bartlett, blank on verso, separating at the central vertical fold, the sheet toned, some chipping, 7 1/2 x 2 1/2 in.
