Cream-colored Earthenware Coffeepot and Cover, England, c. 1750-60, probably Staffordshire and in the manner of Thomas Astbury or Thomas Whieldon, of elongated pear shape with twig finial, C-scroll foliate spout and strap handle, stamped relief motifs including liver birds, a huntsman, flowerheads, and arabesque foliage, each decorated with translucent enamels including yellow, green, and brown manganese, ht. 6 3/4 in.
