Staffordshire Creamware Melon Coffeepot and Cover, England, c. 1760, pear shape with floral finial, leaf-molded handle and spout, applied leaf and flowerhead to handle terminal, allover rouletted decoration with translucent green and yellow stripes, ht. 8 3/4 in. Estimate $1,500-2,500 Cover: 3/4" chip mostly under the petals of the finial. Pot: Small hairlines to rim; slight flake to side of spout; 1/2" chip to underside of footrim.
