Norton & Co., 1972) signed in brown ink to the front endpaper "For Frank Zapa [sic] Varèse's young friend, with all good wishes, Louise Varèse" (together with an additional copy, also signed by Louise); The Music of Edgard Varèse by Jonathan W. Bernard (Hanover, Mass: Yale University Press, 1987) signed in blue ink to the front endpaper "For Frank Zappa, idol of my youth, Jonathan W. Bernard, June 8, 1987"; and a vintage Town Hall pamphlet program for a concert given in honor of Varèse on May 1, 1961.
