Swedish School, second quarter 20th century. "Mother and Child in Winter Landscape", oil on canvas, signed lower right "R. Loosveldt-Dumont 1929". Painting depicts a pair of figures at center within a barren wintery landscape, a mother and child wrapped in winter coats and hats walking through a snowy field with small home to left in background, with a group of geese surrounding them as they pass before a wooden split rail fence with brown grasses and trees behind, with a blue mountain range in the far distance under yellow and white skies. Framed approximately 14.125" x 17.25", unframed approximately 10.5" x 13.375".
