Larry (Lawrence) Edwardson (American, 1904–1995). Soft-toned oil on masonite painting titled (faintly) verso & signed "Edwardson" to lower left. Measures approximately 24" in height with width of 18". In overall Good condition.Laurence Christie Edwardson was born in Waltham, Massachusetts in 1904 and lived part of his life in Kensington, Connecticut. Much of his painting career was spent in New England and New Orleans, Louisiana. His work includes many Louisiana landscapes, portraits and religious subjects; and one of his modernist works is in the Historic New Orleans Collection.
