Baccarat (French, founded 1764) and Cristal d'Albret (French, founded 1918) for Franklin Mint (American, founded 1964). A set of eight sulfide cameo and lead crystal paperweights from the Bicentennial Collection circa 1974-1976. Set comprising Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Marquis de Lafayette, John Paul Jones, Admiral de Grasse, Baron de Montesquieu, and John Adams, each depicting the male figure at bust length to a black or blue ground. Each with acid etched mark to underside. Accompanied with original fitted display boxes and copies of the certificates of authenticity. Each approximate diameter 3".
