Impressionistically rendered landscape painting depicting a quaint creek-side village, likely the artist's home town of New Hope, Pennsylvania. With inscription to frame verso "Ransom Rambo Studio". Framed approximately 47" x 37.5". Unframed approximately 39.5" x 29.75". Note: Ethel Wallace's work has been exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Society of Independent Artists, the National Academy of Design, the Phillips Mill Art Association, and Grand Central Galleries.
