A heavily embellished 16th Century style costume worn by Marisa Pavan as Catherine de Medici in Diane (MGM, 1956). The costume consists of a pale pink velvet boned bodice embellished with simulated pearls, bands of gold lamé, and lace with a bias label inscribed "1675 4537 Marisa Pavan"; a pink velvet overskirt with a train, a bias label inscribed "1675 4537 Marisa Pavan" and a Western Costume label inscribed "Dana Wynter"; a petticoat with front panel embellished with silver and gold bullion embroidery in a floral pattern, a bias label inscribed "1675 4537 Marisa Pavan" and a Western Costume label inscribed "Dana Wynter"; a headpiece embellished with silver and gold bullion embroidery in a floral pattern, simulated pearls, and rhinestones, with a bias label inscribed "Marissa Pavon [sic] 1675 Ch 2"; a pair of custom embellished De Luca pumps inscribed "Marisa Pavan 1675."
