A group of 12 letters from Stan Laurel to Ivy Stoetzer of Burlington, Ontario. Each letter is typed and signed by Laurel, and each is accompanied by its original transmittal envelope. Many of the letters are typed on Laurel’s personal stationery, and some are typed on Oceana Apartment Hotel stationery. Stoetzer and the Laurels became friends and met at least once. The letters, written between 1957 and 1961, are accompanied by seven original color photographs from their meeting. Laurel was a generous and prolific letter writer to his fans.
