English Poured Wax Head Doll in Early Wooden Chest, mid-19th century, blue glass stationary eyes, painted features, inset dark blonde human hair (oxidation and settling from heat), cloth body, wax limbs (lower arms collapsed, hands detached, lower legs slightly misshapen), original white cotton eyelet-trimmed dress (foxing), with big pink bows, black leather square-toed slippers with pink ribbon bow, ht. 19, in a black walnut hinged-lid box which measures 8 x 12 x 22 in.
