Cut Paper Memorial, probably America, 19th century, the picture centered with a large monument flanked by willow trees surrounded by ornate fencing, the tablet reads "In Memory of Francis Mary, wife of Samuel Carter, Born June 23d 1810. Died age 62 years...," followed by a list of their children who also died at a very young age, the trees, monument, and fencing are all cut paper designs in black, applied to a paper backing, further applied to canvas, 22 3/4 x 27 3/4 in., framed, (toning, stains, tears).
