Collector's mark Henry Brodhurst, England (Lugt, 1296) on the reverse. Etching on paper with watermark (counter mark II D possibly related to Mauquoy-Hendrickx's watermarks 38 or 233), sheet size 9 3/4 x 6 1/8 in. (24.8 x 15.6 cm), framed. Condition: Good impression, sheet cut along or outside of the plate mark, pale ink borderline, a few touches of ink on the subject, the sheet slightly rubbed on the edges and corners (and skinned on the reverse). Provenance: Through the estate of Edith Stuyvesant Dresser Vanderbilt Gerry to a private New England collection.
