Jacques Lipchitz (French, 1891-1973) Le Chemin de l'Exile, 1945, edition of 33. Signed "JLipchitz" in pencil l.r., numbered "27/33" in pencil l.l., collector's stamps on the reverse. Etching with engraving and aquatint on paper, plate size 13 3/4 x 9 7/8 in. (34.8 x 25.0 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins over 1 1/2 inches with deckled edges, subtle toning, unobtrusive light staining. N.B. Sold to benefit a university art museum.
