Russel Boston 1832," artist name and date and the subjects' names inscribed on on the reverse, watercolor on paper depicting bust-length likenesses of John wearing a black jacket, vest,white shirt and and cravat, Martha wearing a black dress, and a white bonnet, 4 3/8 x 3 1/2 in., in period molded giltwood frames. Condition: John with scattered pigment losses, Sarah with tear u.c., crease at center and scattered pigment losses.
