Wedgwood Gilded Black Basalt Jug, England, late 18th century, helmet shape with Bacchanalian boys in relief above an engine turned band, impressed mark, ht. 5 1/4 in. Very good condition with but a very slight flake under footrim. Footrim also with two minor firing flaws under the gold band.
