Cased Pair of Silver Inlaid Percussion Pistols by Smith London, c. 1840, with English proofs, 1 5/8-inch octagonal screw-off barrels with engraved muzzles and some of the original blued finish, top slide safety, drop trigger, engraved rounded brass frames, walnut grips with laconic silver wire floriate inlay, blank escutcheon plates and lion's mask terminals, in later mahogany case. Provenance: Collection of Allan Klein.
