Louis Icart (French, 1888-1950) Thais, 1927 (Holland et al. , 312). Signed "Louis Icart" in pencil l.r., Icart dry stamp l.l., inscribed "185" in pencil l.l., dated in the publication text within the plate. Color etching with aquatint and stencil-coloring on paper, oval format, plate size 16 3/4 x 21 in. (42.4 x 53.2 cm), framed. Condition: Mat burn, not examined out of frame. The toning is visible and even. The sheet is gently rippled. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
