Late Federal Three-Piece Coin Silver Tea Set, Nicholas J. Bogert, New York, early 19th century, comprising teapot, milk jug, and large covered sugar urn, vasiform, with tapering panels, rims and girdle bands with heart-form tooling, girdled egg-shaped finials, monogrammed, teapot ht. 10 1/2 in., approx. 73 troy oz. total. creamer with ding at bulbous portion of body, and with wear at panels. sugar with top rim with spot pushed inward slightly, and with footrim a little off-round. teapot with two thumb-sized dents, and several pinpoints at bulbous portion of body. dent at top of lid below finial. wear to tip of spout and to body panels. footrim slightly off round. All with minor age wear.
