Bernard Bloch (Austrian, Late 19th/Early 20th century). Art Nouveau pottery figural sculpture depicting a graceful reclining young woman with stylized swirling hair amid ocean waves, overall in greenish patina, "LA VAGUE" translated to "The Wave". Indistinguishably signed on base in front of bare foot. Underside with "BB" impressed mark and "7487". Overall approximate height 6", width 11.5", depth 5". Provenance: Property from the Collection of Richard and Merle Haber sold at Heritage Auctions, Dallas, Texas, June 19, 2015, as part of lot 62178, whereby acquired by a private collection in Atlanta, Georgia.
