Louis XV Provincial Walnut Three-Drawer Commode, late 18th century, serpentine top and case, drawers carved with channels and with foliate cast bronze pulls, scrolled apron and feet, ht. 35, wd. 49, dp. 23 in. Top with moderate worming, exposed tunnels and various additional defects including scratching to front right corner, re-pinning to corners, large part of back area replaced; lower case with only age typical minor defects, shrinkage; good color.
