Louis XV Provincial Walnut and Bronze-mounted Commode, last quarter 18th century, with serpentine front above a conforming case fitted with three short drawers and two long drawers, each with foliate and beast cast mounts and channel carved borders, on bracket feet, ht. 32, wd. 51, dp. 25 in. Age typical defects; large 7 by 3 inch patch to back left corner of top; moderate to heavy scattered discoloration; minor shrinkage throughout.
