George V Silver Presentation Monteith, with engraved makers' roundel for the Stratford Upon Avon Studios Applied Arts, with hammered surface, C-scroll shaped rim, chased and embossed with tallships below rim, body centered to both sides with town shield engraved with buildings and ships and flanked by sea god and sailor, on husk guilloche girdle, with pair of pendant lion mask handles, reeding to base of body, the trumpet foot engraved with inscription, "To Ferrers Daniel from The Court of Directors of the Royal Exchange Assurance on its Bicentenary, 22nd June, 1920," ht 9 1/2, dia. 11 3/8 in., with ebonized wood base, and wire mount for flower arranging, approx. 57 troy oz.
